A rare 1963 Piatigorsky Cup Program signed by all 8 Participants. Aside from the signatures, this beautiful program contains pictures with a short biography of all 8 players including then World Champion Tigran Petrosian.and U.S. Grandmasters Sammy Reshevsky and Pal Benko. Along with the program I have included some tournament photos and related ephemera.

goodknightmike, I don't know enough about the tournament so excuse me if this sounds clueless, but is there a collection of the games played at that tournament?

Mike, amazing find. A beautifully kept piece of chess history.  I'm sure you will be a good caretaker for the long term. Honestly breathtaking.

Great, Great indeed. Without signatures is common, with  them very very rare. A wonderful item.

Up Yes . A European/english version, and the classic and original american one.

Mike,

My dad has a fully signed copy of the 2ND cup program. I'll try to get him to scan it so everyone can see it.  Yours looks great!

Shelby

Thanks Shelby, looking forward to the pics. I also have the 2nd cup program , but mine is only signed by Portish and Fischer.

I have the First Piatigorsky Cup book in hardback, but the Second Piatigorsky Cup in paperback.

I think the Second tournament's volume is in greater demand because Fischer and Spassky played in it.
