Suggestion: Separate "Computer Chess" subforum?

It might be a good thing to have a separate "Computer Chess" subforum, dedicated to discussion of chess computers, programs, engines, GUIs, and other stuff related to chess software, while the "Chess Books & Equipment" subforum could be reserved for discussion of physical chess sets, clocks, literature, and other chess-related items which do not involve computing.

Just an idea, the implementation of which could arguably make things more neat and organized. While it understandably would involve a bit of work initially (such as moving all relevant threads to the new subforum), I think it would pay off in the long run.

Given that it's been a while since this suggestion was made, it would be great if chess.com staff could give some feedback on whether the proposition is being considered, or whether the current state of affairs (i.e. topics related to computer chess ending up being strewn about in the "General Chess Discussion" and " Chess Books and Equipment" forums) is here to stay.

I'm not a fan of that idea. There are already plenty of subgroups to check and it just gets a bit confusing. Would an ipad app go to the new forum?

With the first page of the forum having posts 4 days old I don't think it's hard to keep up. So it would just cause confusion for no gain.
