Summerville-New England Chess Boards?

Does anyone know what's happened to Summerville-New England? Their website isn't working and their Face Book page hasn't been updated since May.

They made some great looking boards. I had my eye on one of their 'floating' Monk boards and was saving my pennies. It would be a real shame to lose another U.S. chess manufacturer.

I think they may be out of Bz Lou...but not totally sure, however some of the retailers might still have some in stock. If I here of one I'll PM ya...

Good news! Summerville is still in business. Their website is up and running today.

Speaking of Summerville boards, I am currently considering getting my dad a Monk style board and a good set of pieces for his birthday. Could anyone recommend whether Summerville is a decent option or I should choose a less pricier board for him? Btw, I am new to this site so I'm unsure if this is the right place for my post.
