SURPRISE STAUTON CHESS SET ...Guess

Dang Mike, now you got me wanting this set! It looks different but, has a cool factor going for it! Dang!!
These sets are the rage of Romanian and Hungarian players and used in many of their National tournaments. No question, a great unque set to play on and a wonderful set to add to one's collection. The pieces look great in all 3 colors, but my favorite is the Red finish
Has anyone had any luck in finding these Romanian (or Hungarian) chess pieces somewhere online? I've been searching quite a bit -- comically resorting to google translate -- but so far haven't turned up anything. I thought I remembered seeing them once on a Portuguese or Spanish website, but I can't seem to find anything.
If they are so popular in Romania, I find it hard to believe that they aren't available somewhere on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've looked extensively and was unable to find them as well...
After a great deal of searching, I'm happy to report that I found a site that sells these pieces in Romania.

I emailed the IM listed on the website and was quoted $150 for the pieces and shipping to the U.S. Unfortunately, I recently bought a different set and can't justify buying another at the moment. Hopefully some of you might be interested!
I love those 4 Dog Knights & would like to have this set but, the price is through the roof.! Extreme price gouging is probably going on here.? I just cannot see a teenage/adult chess player in Romania paying 596.30 RON for this set.!! It just has to be a lot cheaper than that in Romania as the average chess player there could not afford such a high price set IMO.
Yes, the price is quite high. Even considering that the price does include shipping from Romania to the U.S. I'd buy these in a heartbeat if the price were around $85-$100 and could order them from HOS or somewhere similar.

that is an interesting set.
I could be wrong but, here it goes.. the Average Romanian worker earns 420 LEU per week. This translates to $ 105 USD per week. The poor buggers would have to pay almost 1 1/2 weeks wages for this set. Most teen & adult players would not be able to own this set. Only the Elite Class in Romania could afford this set. Its simple price gouging IMO.
