What is the best book on defense you can suggest to me?

every review i have read of How To Defend In Chess by Colin Crouch has been very good. it's on my list of books to get. may get it for christmas infact.

Since Silman was impressed i guess its great.And also Lasker is in it ,one of the most underrated champions ever

uhh, well, if you read that review silman talks about the other good books on defense.

I have the first edition of How to Defend in Chess and I like it quite a lot.

If you are a fan of Lasker and/or Petrosian then this is a book for you.  It has ten games by each of them that showcase very dynamic defensive struggles...
