I'm currently reading it right now. The book is OKAAYY. Not that great and not that bad.
I have the book right now and it is more like a 50/50 quiz on what is the best move to make with grandmaster vs. correct plays.
First, it felt like there would be a list of mistakes inside. Can you share a link or the author name for the book?
Are you talking about the one by Larry Evans?

Larry Evans wrote many books and for years had a syndicated column in newspapers, "Evans on Chess". I never read this book but his reputation is solid. For something more recent, and going perhaps a bit deeper, you might consider "50 Mistakes You Should Know" by Jesus de la Villa, who also wrote the "100 Endgames You Should Know" series of books.
