I haven't been following this at all, could someone bring me up to speed here? Are the newly ordered ultimates going to be the same or different as compared to the previous (non-yellow) batch? I read something regarding new weighting, but apart from that?
Any updates on the new pieces?

A club member has the original Ultimate & I've coveted them. Is any pic available of the non-Black pieces ? Off-white could include a lot of territory.
I cant wait for the Ultimates! The Cavalier set I bought from you is wonderful to play with.

Thank you Shelby! You have made my night. I was about to pull the trigger on a Fischer-Spassky Wooden set, but now that I know the off-white plastic and also the wooden ultimates are on the way before Christmas, I’ll be checking AMC daily until I can purchase. I’m one of those weirdos who bought three sets of the egg yolk yellow ones, and just can’t wait to get my hands on the real deal this time. I’ll be sure to pick up at least 2. Thank you!

There is a way but a chess seller in Europe would have to be willing to buy a few hundred sets at a deep discount from Shelby and get them shipped directly from China. They would have to be willing to put up the $$$. I doubt anyone will do that. That way you do not have the extra shipping from the USA to Europe which is very expensive.
