Just some small corrections, "machine turns" should be "lathe". It's not "boxes", it's "squares" obviously. "pjässet" = "set of pieces".

They are quite common in tournament settings here in scandinavia.

The shop informed me that the image on their website is an image of the set they are selling.  i take this as meaning exact.  When ordering from this distance you have expect some level risk.  (there may be some level of error in communication)

They are checking on the shipping costs.  Depending on your location this may vary a little.

That sounds crazy.  I hope the FedEx website is wrong, or im doing something wrong, im thinking this might be in Danish Dollars (Krone) and not US Dollars, but it does say USD.

Possible, I will wait to hear from the shop.  they are checking into the shipping costs.

Website does not appear to accept orders from the United States; there are no options for shipping or payment when selecting USA.

sounds like a good deal.  processing the order, is this something that will have to be done over the phone?  any instruction on that?

This is usually pretty much what their cost will be, just look up your cost from USA to Sweeden. 2 pounds or less in a package sent cheapest way 1st class international  will be $24.15  and it says delivery time varies. If sent Priority it is over double the price and it is still 6-10 business days.  

So basically your set sent cheapest way will cost you as almost as much as your set will.  

Sent many a package to foreign countries from here during the height of my business.  FedEx, UPS, and DHL will all look expensive compared to the USPS 1st class international which has weight/size and value limitations all of which your chess set would qualify.

I am not 100% sure as his engish is a little confusing.. maybe one of our swede/norwegian members can contact him & find out what the deal is...???

Just placed the order with paypal...it was sooo easy to order. Normally I just like to send cash to another country...they seem to love American Bucks.!!!
