Very cool chess set

Can anyone ID this, I thought Liberty BUT the pawns do not look like it but the bishop does.  These are the sets I hope to one day walk into a thrift shop and find (in my dreams).  Just scroll down one picture.

                                                         You talkin about these?                                                                                                                                                          phpChfBmQ.png

Yes Ron. The pawns are fantastic, the whole set is very very cool.   I also liked the slightly over crowded board look back then too.

I'm sorry, I know nothing about them. I just thought it was easier than going to the link.  With apologies to batgirlnervous.png

hi

I googled the original image. Got a different angle.                                                                                                                        phpcVNRYO.jpeg

I agree with Ron. Looks like a Lardy to me.

Goodknightmike has an almost identical set in his collection. He identifies it as a 1940s Lardy. Note the similarities in the Kings, Queens' crowns, the Bishops' miters, the pawns, and the lines of the Rooks.

Yes I see it is probably a Lardy, The pawn collar looked so coll and downturned in the first photo.
