It's not perfect... I've been told several times my move is illegal, when it is a legal move (e.g., moving a castled rook forward to take a pawn). It won't let me make it with the board, but I can use my mouse and make the same move online. However, no issues with this game other than the opponent resigning early in the match when we were equal on material.
Note: The video runs about 2 minutes after I edited out the delays between moves.
Awesome work! I've been following your progress with your project, and it turned out much better than I thought it would - you made a believer out of me! I guess I just haven't had experience with DGT boards so this is certainly capturing my attention in trying it out for slower games.

Another game (4:42) from a different angle. Cut-throat match where a lot of material was traded. Skip to 4:12 to see the decisive move on the opponents remaining rook.
Quite different playing on a real chess board versus online 2D. I have to train my brain to visualize the game in a different way. It's a work in progress.
Since making this video, I'm now making my moves/exchanges with one-hand and picking up the king first on a castle and practicing no-touch rules.
Note: I have since upgraded my chess pieces to the Royal, rosewood set (checkout the knights). Only 3-days delivery from Slovenia (Europe, borders Italy) to WA when I paid the extra $12 expedited shipping (Amazon). Ordered Tuesday and delivered midday Friday.
