i think these clocks must increase in value based on scarcity even though it has issues.

Ziryab- the buttons are the side. If anyone has information on Waterbury chess clock, the info would be most welcome.

This is one impressive collection. I think analog chess clocks are way more beautiful than its digital counterparts.

I used to have an old Jerger clock, very similar to the one in the photo (numbers rather than Roman numerals), and it ran beautifully - in my view, they were probably some of the best analog clocks around. However, I now have a new favourite, the Art Deco Hawks chess clock. Such a beauty!

I am pretty sure one is from Hungary and the one is from Germany but they look the same.

Hello, is there an information source on vintage Russian chess clocks? Some have markings on the bottom while some have nothing?

From my perspective, they are both MOM clocks from Hungary. Similar clocks were made, inter alia, for Danuvia and Omikron and there is one version under the name of "Jaeger", which most likely was a German distributor, but not the clock maker itself. What makes you believe that one of them is German?

Hello! Can anybody recommend a place to get a high quality, wooden analogue chess clock? Doesn’t need to be vintage or anything, just want it to be accurate, sturdy and not too large.

These clocks were presumably made in Germany by Haller or Junghans in the late 19th or early 20th century. I have a similar model with a slightly different clockface. More background information is available on my website.
