Warped silicone chessboard

I have a silicone chessboard but it's been creased along the parts where it folds so it does not lie completely flat. It's annoying trying to play blitz chess and have the small pieces bounce off the folds. Any way to flatten out a board made of silicone (not vinyl)?null

You could try rolling it up on a 25" long,  .5" diameter wooden dowel very tightly and secure it with rubber bands to sit overnight or a few days see if this helps otherwise if it's possible ask the vendor you obtained it from to get a new one if that is permissible.

Try using an iron, it gets creeses out of my shirts so it mite be worth a shot.

Why would genuine silicone boards have cloth backings?  That doesn't make sense.
