His first Understanding Chess Tactics is my favorite tactics book & I've gone through it several times. Admittedly the translation is poor, but one gets used to the awkward syntax. Is it worth getting his revised edition Chess Tactics from Scratch ? Does this add appreciably to the ideas & material of his first book ?
