Which SW to get? Fritz 18 and/orChessbase 16?

Hi all Looking to purchase a SW app as a gift (for myself LOL).
I am looking at Fritz 18 and Chessabase 16. What is the diffrence? They sell a bundle. Do I need both or the answer depends on what my learning goals are? I am on MacOS and prefer a Mac app. If there is a better alternative (I have Hiarch chess and not crazy about the app overall), what do you guys recommend?
