I am new to the electronic board scene and look for a very simple DGT Board wich just transfers moves to and from chess.com via android over bluetooth. Any suggestions?

"Simple" means no chesscomputer needed, just as a controller ...

Dgt Pegasus  coming out on 4th nov but you will need a phone/tablet to interface it with.

it looks promising but no-one knows for sure yet. I have my doubts about the quality.

Yeah, intresting ...

Looks a bit "cheap" - agree.

Does it have to be DGT? Your options are limited if so.

trick0017

No, if there is anything else wich works - please tell!

Certabo could be an option

Do Certabo Boards have LED?

Why don't you look for yourself?

There is the millennium chess exclusive (includes a computer which you don't have to use) or the much larger supreme tournament 55 (no computer, like a larger chess exclusive but some nice weight to the pieces) along with the chesslink module that plugs into the board and connects to the android app.   That chesslink link has a video demonstrating how to use it with the chess.com app so you can decide if that is the process you are looking for.

I have never used chesslink but some observations,
  - I have heard of some problems using chesslink with the exclusive board if you keep the chesslink in the little tray below the chess board due to interference with the piece recognition.  No problems if kept outside.
  - The support of chesslink with the chess.com android app is new so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes time to work out the kinks.
  - The video shows playing games against other players with chesslink but I don't know if it works with the bots.

The Chesslink interference problem has been solved--they have added some sort of RF blocker inside the cabinet.

Millennium systems work really well; with Lichess--you can play with the bots but also live players.

You can now play with the Chess.com Android app and your Millennium board--works well but you can only play a 10 minute game, you can't choose which color you play. But it works and is fun.

A DGT Smart Board and Chess.com remains difficult. I have not been able to make it work. DGT is coming out with the Pegasus, as mentioned, which will play with Chess.com. But it is doubtful you can play bots, because I know that the new Square Off Pro plays with Chess.com but only against live players. Square Off told me Chess.com does not permit them to access their bots. But the Square Off Pro does interface with this site and works reasonably well, and if you have an Android phone/tablet you can use the Chesslink and the android app with a millennium board, which is a really fun way to play.

This is very useful information about chesslink and good to hear the interference issue has been solved, thank you.  I only play the bots, for now, so it is disappointing that it is not supported on chess.com.  I wonder why.  Maybe it is more complicated supporting the custom bot options and take back features.  But also nice to know bots on other sites are supported.  Hopefully chess.com will continue to develop the chesslink interface to at least enable additional live play time options.

Topschach benny on schach.computer site has been testing the Pegasus and confirms it works with the bots on chess.com
