Still incredibly expensive though IMO. I’m Canadian and it is like $300 CAD after conversion and shipping.
That is quite expensive.
Here is one that is a bit bigger but with regular pieces and a leather board:
I love it. I take it on the road when I travel. Quite a bit less expensive

The World chess pocket set was discontinued, probably because of the cost,and replaced with a 12” box/board magnetic set for $109 US. similar sets from others still cost around half as much. Any World Chess product sells at a premium over actual value.

I have it, it's nice travelling set.
I am looking for a premium travel chess set and I stumbled across the world chess set leather travel chess set.
It looks great and exactly what I want. However, the size? 136mm by 136mm with a square size of 17mm…… for $200 USD?
Is that not incredibly expensive for a chess board of that size? Even if it is premium leather.
Does anybody have this set or know anybody who has this set? How is it? Does the size work?
