Animation before the game

The animation before the games showing the flags of the players is horrible.
When you play bullet games, you loose 2 seconds when playing white. Is there a way to turn this off?

Probably in settings, or on app it is fine.
Yes it's not good, and most importantl, it's not necessary!
It might be the Showcase Opponent Theme feature in Settings > Board & Pieces > Board Effects
i don't like the new animation in the beginning of a match. it's distracting when playing any fast and short games. It's some sort of A/B test? I don't see it every time and it has a different length.

Try disabling it
On the app there is no "board and pieces" category under settings. How can we remove this issue on the app?
Do you have the search box in the settings? You can type some specific option there and it appears quickly
No option to search on the app. Yet another example of chess.com not supporting the app particularly well.
