Chess tutorials told me they were demotivated by your calling them dumb. Guess it's going around.

Try harder bro, is like you just start or try 5/120 heroes of Dota2 game. In this board game, you need to mastering deeper, like the important of the middle 4 squares, opening variations~Early game, farming/capturing/trading ~Mid game, and the last one- dont make any silly mistake game mode/hard core mode~ End game (normally with rooks and pawn) LOL

Then, your either a. watching things you already know or b. you just don't practice.

But most beginners think "oh I lost a pawn that's not important"
Or even "I lost a knight or bishop, those can't checkmate anyway so that's not important"
But that's not how it works. Losing anything is very important. You have to be super greedy. Don't lose anything for free, not even a pawn, and try to win your opponent's pieces. That's the first chess lesson
a pawn is just a tin pawn, it's just 1 point. losing 1 point dosn't kill you. but losing 9 points is.
you don't know much about chess so you shouldn't argue with someone who knows a lot more than you about it.
