When I was online 1450 I did not know any strategies. Just some openings knowledge and some tactics. My endgame was only the most basic. I considered myself as advanced beginner when I was 1450. You will definitely will get stuck below 1600 if you continue not to try to learn anything. I was a self-learn chess player. I did not have coaches. I used chess books.
