Help
Looking at your games. You need help in all phases of the game.
Your first step: Quit playing speed chess. How are you supposed to learn when you're moving fast?
Too vague. You haven't provided any relevant details about the issues you're facing in your games. You've just blatantly asked for help like as if there's a magical answer out there from somebody to give you.
If you look at the OP's games. They play nothing but speed chess, hang material, misses simple tactics and doesn't even follow opening principles. They are no nowhere near ready to tackle middlegame ideas. Start with the basics.
This can't truly be answered in just forums.... Message me if you are interested in coaching. Even if it isn't with me, coaching is the best way to get out of a slump.

To some extent this is true, but middlegame ideas start with the basics, so working on both isn't a problem

Not arguing just throwing my .02 on this. When someone doesnt do the basics; opening principles, misses simple tactics, hangs material, and play nothing but speed chess. What good is trying to discover what openings get you to a playable middlegame? And how to come up with a middlegame plan? To me? It makes no sense to try and figure out what part of he board yo should play on when your leaving material free for your opponent to take.

I disagree. I've never had a coach and powered through slumps with lots of playing and study.

You are right on all points, what I was saying is that you can learn middlegames strategy "by" doing the opening principles, tactics, etc...all of what you said. sorry I didn't clarify myself

I didn't say "you have to have a coach to improve" this is obviously false. I said (again this is my opinion) that the "best" way to get out of a slump is by working with a coach. A coach can help you recognize WHY you are in a slump, and can save lots of wasted time. I hope this clarifies my statement,
