King Knight Push

I have been struggling with one of the drills on here.  It is the King knight pawn checkmate.  I can't figure out how to use the king and the knight to push the black king into a corner. I can get him out of the center of the board but that's about it.  I have mated him once but I feel that at this point in time by accident.  Getting really frustrated because when I look on the internet the theory isn't explained on how it's possible.  I would like to drive the king away from the pawn and into my desired corner.  Could anyone help me out to figure this out??  Thank you all for your time and help.

I have trouble navigating chess.com lessons/drills since they changed the format. Is there a way you can just post the starting position in a chess.com diagram here and I'll try to help maybe?

king b3 knight c1 knight d3 black king e 7 black pawn e6 I know that the first 2 moves are to block blacks pawn and then to reinforce the knight after that I have great difficulty with pushing the black king to where I want him

I would say mating with 2 knights vs 1 pawn isn't the most practical thing to master. 99.9%, you will never encounter such a scenario in your entire life. The main concept is that you are actually able to push the king to the corner with just one knight and a king. This process is easier when the enemy pawn is central, because your blocking knight helps to control squares, and get harder when the pawn is closer to the edge or further advanced. If you're still really keen on learning this mate, try setting this up in a tablebase: https://syzygy-tables.info/ and have a look at how the table base wins the position, and then try again yourself.

Oh I know it just I was looking to see how one knight and the king can push and control the other king to move where I want them to go.
