I just realized the potential value 960 has to an aspiring 1000. For 2 years I've done the puzzles, studied some openings, analyzed my games, read some books, etc... and I'm ready to mix it up. Dont worry! I won't be abandoning all those things, but I need some fresh perspective and I realized that 960 is just that. You can't rely on opening knowledge anymore...it's just you and your opponent, and applying what you've learned about tactical play, strategy, and positional play. Problem is that I want to play games with a 30 minute time control. Rated or non-rated, dont care. Anyone out there want to be a 960 learning partner? More than 1 response will be accepted. I'll take 10 people if you respond! Let me know! I'll be online ready to play for the next few hours!
Edit: ***The problem is I want to play a 30 minute time control...and I just end up sitting there forever waiting on a match, but none comes! I guess no-one likes 30 minute chess 960. so that's why I'm reaching out***
