Please put your name in the thread name so we can easily skip your threads in future. I have better things to do such as listening to great people with super advice about chess. Doesn't that sound like a great idea? And something right up your alley ... getting attention and your name repeated throughout history on the Internet.

Well idk, I actually Agree , but still I want to take active part in the interaction, not just doing the promts. Also I think the players would apreciate It more. After all, ethically speaking, we should avoid using AI when its not absolutely necessary. Don't you think?

The problem with precise promting nowadays is that It doesn't necessarily save you a whole lot of work or time. After all its me behind the screen anyways, promting or not

Well talking about insanity, here's a story for you worth thinking about: this happened yesterday.

So I started this thread and this player @LieutenantFrankColumbo seemingly got interested in the lessons. Started asking about qualifications. So I politely replied couple of times ( first Page of this thread). Then he posted a picture(which i liked) in another recent thread of mine called 'CONFESSION'. After posting the picture I suddenly noticed he blocked me( surprisingly) After the blockage he comes back to this thread, continues writing stuff, seemingly angry about something. Then when I stop replying, after 2 hours comes back here again, and deletes all of his previous messages, one by one(I didn't even had time to reply to them all, also since he blocked me). Note that: I didn't know this player, didn't talk with him, no messages, no games, nada

@Idrinkyourhealth3 I had politely asked you to put your name in the Title (and you CAN change the title since you did that before), so we'd know not to go onto YOUR thread. But it dawned on me that 1) you never did as I requested and 2) why the heck do you think you own this place?

It is no surprise that people are blocking you. You work hard for it.

Stockfish, and other engines are good tools for trying to get better at chess, and they can help you understand a certain position. If the understanding needed to understand a certain position is far above one's level, it will take hours of looking at it with an engine to deciphre it, or sometimes even that will not be enough.

Chess engines are tools. They are not an adequate substitute for human chess knowledge (perhaps in many years, but not today).

If stockfish was an adequate substitute, one would never need a coach, market would soon reflect that, and all those titled players giving lessons would be put out of work.

For instance:

Stockfish would say that this is a draw with best play. The problem is, this is so complex for black that it was lost in the real game by black between Carlsen and Nepo. If Stockfish was an adequate teacher, this position with a few pieces on the board would be a an automatic draw between such high rated players as they are the best learners of the game, and it wasn't in practice.

So knowing the best move with the help of a chess engine and understanding it are very different things, at least today.

Why would we need a coach when we could just ask Stockfish ourselves? Not to be rude, but I think I know more about chess and how to work a chess engine than a 1300

That's not the question. The question is why would you refuse a free extra help from a 2500 chess engine that teams up with a human being for a better comprehension ?

I think he just wants to play against 1800s-2400s honestly they should be coaching the op instead

Well not everybody are as good at studying and analyzing alone, as you may be. Some people welcome the extra help
