Question about course content

Hi all. I have a feeling I'm missing something completely obvious here, but I'm having a problem reading the content of one of my courses, and I can't find a way to fix it. I've tried the FAQ, support link and the Settings, but can't find what I need anywhere.

My problem is that the text in the right hand pane (i.e. where all the course content is) is sometimes truncated when lines are too long to fit. As I can tell l if I use copy and paste, the rest of the line is there, but I can't see it. I've tried resizing the window until it extends across both my monitors, but that content pane stubbornly stays the same size. Is there a way to turn on word wrap somewhere?

Here's an example of what I'm talking about. The text seems to be formatted for a longer line width than it's given space for. The same problem exists in the browser and the app.

So is it like eliminating some words like if there was something cutting the text off? Like where it says Before ju---- and cuts it off? If so, try hovering over the edge, and the a little back and forth arrow should show. Then click and hold it to resize the content pane. Sorry, you've probably already tried that but it's all I would know to do

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the problem is exactly as you described. I did try that hover suggestion, and it didn't work unfortunately. It's weird; it seems such a fundamental issue that surely other people must have seen it?
