Tips to be better
Try learning openings and defences. Main lines help you get a good postion at start. An easy opening is the king's pawn followed by the king's knight. If you want more, you can play the Scotch game if your opponent responded with knight f6 to protect their pawn on e5. For defenses, recommand the Petrov's defence for the king's pawn and the Marshall defense in case of a queen's gambit decline.
So I was good at chess, in my young age, but my friends start catching up to me. I'm practicing 30min everyday, and still lose online and have difficult times against my friends.
