Trying to Get into Teaching
Best of luck to you. I've never coached, but it seems to me that coaches that prefer low level students have better luck teaching at the local level.
Offering 50% rate of OP.
The OP is a better bargain.
Why do you think so?
You can learn a lot about a person by who they choose as friends. Every noxious reappearing (and frequently banned) troll on this site is friends with the dude offering a discount. Even free is too much to pay for some services.

I donno wheather there is any connection between teaching skills and some trolls in somebody's friend list.
I think someone who is an obnoxious troll (why did he post in this thread?) and who keeps company with obnoxious trolls is extremely unlikely to be a good teacher.
@animaul7 is a young and developing player offering services at a reasonable price. I suspect he's worth hiring if you are looking for a coach.
The troll seeks to undermine this generous offer by undercutting the price.
Hello, I'm a pretty good chess-almost-master ready to start teaching lower level players. I offer my services at only $20 an hour in Canadian dollars since I've never been paid to teach before, as well as $5 for a training game. I recently got approved to be a chess.com coach, so that's a plus. Email is in my bio.
Is that $5 per hour for a training game? Also what do you consider a lower level player? I often play training games against titled players at G60 with analysis after the game.
