Useless Bloodbaths

I have found a lesson on this site that teaches to make it more dramatic, sacrifing pieces even if it is not strictly necessary: it had an en passant capture that allowed me to win in one less move but made me lose a pawn, while the move that saved that poor piece was an "alternative". My opinion has always been that the correct move when you are in a completely won endgame is the one that allows you to save as many pieces you can, so I try to do it as exercise, especially when people do not surrender against me even if they are in lost positions (especially in blitz games where they hope for my blunders... and sometimes they gain something doing that, my bad).

What do you choose? The move that wins in less moves or the one that saves more pieces? The engines surely prefer the first one usually.

I’d prefer the move that wins in less moves.

Anyway, for the devolepers: that retry symbol that appears when you make a correct move that was not in your line is quite annoying since it is the same that appears when you make mistakes in other trainings. I would really appriciate if you change it with a green one, maybe always making the player do again the move in order to have the position that you wanted but with more positive vibes. Thank you in advance.
