Take it easy, I kid.

While we're nit-picking such minutiae, here's a friendly reminder: Oxford gets a capital O.

Consider this your first warning. You get two more before your grammar nazi card is revoked. We don't tolerate such a complete lack of respect for details.

Really new to chess and really want to improve my game but, being a university student I don't exactly have the money to spend on a coach.

And so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to give free advice / lessons to a noob chess player like me :D

Thanks in advance.

Ignore the rediculousness you will encounter for asking the question.  Feel free to message me with any question you may have.

"ridiculousness" and "feel free to massage me"

haha thanks for some of the comments would've changed the "there" but have no clue how to edit.

Watched most of Benjamin Finegolds lectures on YouTube quite like him.

Can I ask people to message me if they're interested in helping ? Thanks.

In addition to Feingold's videos I'd recommend checking out a lot of the other videos that the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis has on YouTube. Especially their beginner level videos.  Also, I know you said you're a poor university student, but I'd highly suggest paying the few dollars a month for a premium membership here. Diamond level offers unlimited Tactics Trainer and, I think, 5 Chess Mentor courses a day (and really, if you're speeding through them so quickly that 5/day is not enough then you're probably not really absorbing the lessons very well anyway).
