I met someone here. Very cheap 10usd per month. He is very much better than a GM coach. Why? He was 1300 here and become 1900 and 2200 in other websites very quickly. And he is teaching the very exact chess books and chess regimens that he did.

Hi,
I am trying to gather information about a chess coach. Due to my location it will probably need to be online. The higher rated coach I can find the better. I have moved passed the basics of chess. Currently I am rated 1006 (FIDE), however, ever since I started playing in tournaments (I have only played in 4) it has been in an upward spiral. I think my rating is probably higher. I know that one tournament doesn't determine my rating, but I recently played in one where I beat a 1700 rated player and drew with an 1800 rated player (FIDE). I love positional chess and the endgame (Karpov is my chess hero). I think it would be wise to find a coach that would encourage and nurture my preferred playing style (positional) (I don't think someone like Tal would be a very good fit). What are your thoughts? Right now I am trying to gather information.
