A very hard variant is 3+
Best Chess Variant and Why?
Personally, I like Chess 960.
I haven't tried any others yet, but 3+ and King of the Hill seem very interesting.
I think Spell Chess is underrated and is one of the best variants
NGL the only reason that I don't like speel chess and atomic chess is because the game goes too fast.
(Spell chess, people use the leaping potion and mate in two and it's unavoidable.)
Duck Chess is amusing. Plus you can easily play it OTB if you have a rubber duck.
it would have to be a small rubber duck, or a big board
Bughouse
the problem with bughouse is your partners are sometimes awful, and you can't even abort the game. it's good if you play with a friend though

Every time I try to play with a friend it doesn't let me. I can play bughouse by myself but ig I want to play a friend it just doesn't let me click the play button.
What do y'all think the best Chess Variant is? Which one has the most depth and is the most fun?
