so far, it seems that the best way is to set it up so you always go to the next lesson.
However, lots of the lessons have references to different variations of the same position, where the "truly correct move" is different because there are multiple ways to do things.
This was really helpful when you could see the lessons in a dropdown box of a subcategory of a big list, but when you are being automatically put through the lessons it just feels like you are repeating a previous lesson for no reason. For example, I was doing some rook endgames lessons, and it felt like every other lesson was the exact same position with the exact same required moves from me, with no difference in explanation as to why I'm doing it again.
I'll continue to use chess mentor, but perhaps only on my phone if there isn't a better navigation for my laptop
I was playing some chess on my phone while I was travelling and I stumbled upon chess mentor.
I saw a large 'drop-down-folder'-like listing, where everything was very easily navigatable and sorted. I tried a few lessons from a category and decided it would be good enough for me to buy a membership.
Now I've bought a membership and I'm trying to use it on a laptop, I'm finding that the nice layout of the lessons isn't there, and it seems that outside of the phone app, the only way to find a lesson is to search for it.
This feels really awkward, does anyone else feel the same, or am I just missing a better way to browse the lessons on a computer?
