Chess Mentor Vs Study Plan?

I haven't touched a piece in years and have recently decided to get back in the game. I reached out to one of the chess coaches near me in Washington, DC but haven't recieved a response.

So here is the question. I looked at the beginners study plans and none mentioned Chess Mentor. I'm thinking of working through the Chess Mentor course for a month or two or more, before getting back into live battle or getting side tracked with opening study, etc.

Is Chess Mentor by itself a good study plan?

You have access to the whole CM catalog of course as a diamond member, but yes, there is also a CM study plan.  Couple years ago they came up with a nicely balanced group of 25 free CM courses as a solid introduction to the game.  It worked so well they knocked the free courses back to 15.  I'll just give the link in case anyone hasn't heard of them:

Thank you for the informed reply.

I would look at it, yes. It appears to have a range of topics on all of the stages in a game and you can supplement it as needed too.
