The basics--the most important thing in chess is to get queen and bishop out as early as possible for a quick checkmate on f7.

Interesting. Is that a bug in the diagram editor? Or is that just a PGN paste and the editor doesn't check for validity?

You have to manually add the hash-tag when you are putting the PGN into the file in order for it to signal checkmate when it really isn't checkmate.
