The Charlotte chess center as well as his wikipedia shows that he is dead. They released a brief statement

IDK I cant find any other sources. His wikipedia switched to a death date and past tense, and then was reverted back. Im not sure what is going on?

Truly shocked and deeply saddened if this turns out to be true. What a HUGE loss for chess. I feel so sorry for his family and loved ones.
