Since someone cared enough to mention Marshawn Lynch I must say that guy has my admiration. Repeating yeah & I'm just here so I don't get fined got so much respect from me. He would redirect the stupid questions to something noble like his charity efforts. Give Magnus a break & forget about this. What sickens me is it was later being described as a million dollar shot. IMO, a farmer's harvest is worth like a million dollars, not some camera shot of a frustrated Magnus.

He was close, but not that close. He was still a couple of feet away when Carlsen shoved him. If he had been like just a few inches away, I would agree with you.

It's funny to watch everyone fuss over this Magnus and forgive him for things they would never forgive a person with lesser regalia. It's just that in chess, as in life, unfortunately, whoever holds the crown gets away with anything.

No. The camera was literally in his personal space. You got to respect that. However, I also think that Magnus didn't do the best thing, it could have turned ugly....If I were in his place I would try telling them to get away.. and if they failed to cooperate, only then would I get physical..
