@sacrificedStoat black can simply play kf7 and brown plays qf2, if white takes blacks king, brown takes whites', (or maybe even qf2 taking whites' bishop. If green had played m4 on move 3 and black, qe8, then brown is now threatening ql1 and green's king is gone.) The rules are that each color still plays on with all their pieces so long their aliies' king is alive, so the game would be interesting.

On the contrary, in this format there is no scholars' mate, since both kings must be killed to win.

Actually, if white takes black's king on f7 than green is forced to play i3 or black can go qh4 protecting browns' queen on e1. And if i3 by green, then black goes qh2, then takes whites' bishop on f2 after white takes brown's queen on e1.

Blacks' team would be up a bishop
