Women's Grand Prix - No Chess.com coverage?

Or did I miss it?

Round 7 ended today it is the first I heard about this tournament.

You would think that the worlds biggest chess site would have some mention of one of the worlds biggest women's chess events involving the best women chess player in the world.

Why is there such little effort to promote women's chess here?  You would think that the more popular chess becomes, the more this site will benefit, and womens chess is probably the largest market with the most potential for growth.

I know some will argue that women's chess quality is lower than the top men, but to that I say:

1.  For more than 99% of the chess fans out there, they can not tell the difference between 2500 level chess and 2700 level chess anyway.

2.  Womens' chess has more decisive games, which is one of the biggest complaints about the top open tournaments.  Therefore, the womens events are more exciting and more interesting.

3.  Many people are just as interested in following the chess personalities and and the drama of the competition as with the chess moves.  The women's personalities and and their competitiveness are easily as interesting or more interesting than the men.

4.  Most chess followers are men.  I would think that there would be a natural interest for men to follow women's events.  There is for me.

It is a big missed opportunity for chess.com to not make an effort to increase the interest on this web site, and it also just seems nonsensical that they would give so little attention to a major chess event, when all they have to do is cover chess.

Anyway, you can check it out on youtube.  Pretty girls, great chess, and the venue is the Yacht Club in Monaco, a truly awesome location!  Lots of reasons to watch!

Ok they (Doggers) posted an article right after I posted this, after 7 rounds.  I presume the next and last one will be when the tourney is over.  I appreciate the coverage, but still its undercoverage IMO.

Meanwhile the Mens Grand Prix in Jeruselem started and will get covered to death despite the first round was 100 percent lame draws with many players not even trying to play.  Pretty sad.  Nepo and Gelfand a ten move draw?!!  Karjakin 19 moves?  Pathetic!  Today in game 2 Giri and Wei Yi drew in 10 moves!

Why not just sleep late and send someone down with a note offering a draw before move 1?  This is the kind of chess that gets the media attention?  They aren't even playing chess!
