Also, there is no Azor Ahai.
Had you read the books closely you would realize that all prophecies are bs.
It's one of the main points to the piece of work. Prophecies in GOT are like horroscopes in this world.
Fools believe.
I don't care about the books.i only watch the T.V show.Your joke stopped being funny 5 years ago. Can't ruin it anymore.
I am playing a tournament and my opponent played e6 as their first move I don't know what opening that is however I have won against it before.

Simon Williams advocates buying his books the killer dutch and attacking chess the french and this way you can meet e4 and d4 with e6. This is what I do, I love both openings!
I learned the French, because I used to start the Dutch with 1...e6. Then I gave up the Dutch but kept the French.

Damn, the rock is not solid enough. I'd suggest to change the title into Molybdenum Steel Solid Repertoire. ![]()

Since I generally like playing White against the French Defense more than others that can arise after 1 d4 e6, I would simply go with 2 e4 and transpose into the French - but it's just my semi-positional-game preference.
I was just switching from e4 to d4 and on my first game with d4, where i wanted to play the stonewall, e6 happened, I had no idea what to do so I just ignored it and continued playing the stonewall, for some reason black resigned on the 7th move....

That might be explained by the 523 rating.

I am just starting out, I came here looking for something against e6... so that i could play it the next time instead of what i did
2...Bb4ch was pointless in your game. Could have played 3c3, and carried on like normal. 2...c5 or 2...f5 more valid black responses but shouldn't prevent you playing your usual game. You won't have much, but your system doesn't give much against any sensible black response.

I am sorry, I had just like looked into the stonewall and london 20 minutes ago before this game, i played it to just try it out... so I didnt exactly know how to play the queens gambit or any other lines with f5 and c5, after the match I did look those up tho..
d4-e6 used to be my main move.I used to play the classical dutch as my main opening and being a French player preffered to start with 1.e6 since it totally avoids all dangerous gambits against the dutch.e6 is useful even for Qgd players. It's a flexible move and as for whether 2.c4 is objectively worse than 2.e4 .Both are equally good.
