I'm new to the insert game thing so pardon that. I was was wondering about this "gambit" I played earlier. It goes..
1. e4 e5
2.Nf3 Nc6
3.Bc4 d6
A standard italian game I think this is like the paris defense for black not sure.
4.d4 exd4
5.Ng5.... and this is the position I am most curious about. I'm a low 1300 player and played the regular italian game with which I ussually play d4 is black plays d6. I wanted something different so I went with Ng5 instead of Nxd4. I ended up forking the queen and rook with Nxf7.
I did see after Ng5 black has 5...d5 a resemblance to the fried liver attack. I'm just curious and trying to learn and searched the game explorer to check into the opening and found no clear leads. Any help would be nice. Thanks ^.^
