The whole point of this topic is to explane and develop an opening that is little used
ill post the variations ive encountered and id like to see what a chess engine says about the opening from various lines

its not as bad as you would think, so far im undefeated in it and thats online as well as over the board
If it brings you success, great. Enjoy it, have fun with the opening. Seems like if you run up against a strong player (>1800 or so) you'll just get squished. But hey, that could be arguably said for other gambits as well. I got told it a fair amount for playing the d4 Nf6 c4 e5!? gambit.
This could be very effective in bullet chess. Give it a go and see what happens. :)
My point exactly: http://www.chess.com/livechess/game.html?id=121565741
I have posted about this before too, It's far superior to the Bongcloud :)
I've played 20 games online with this, 11 losses and 9 wins, which is about ballpark for a Black opening.
My approach is a little different from the OP though, my games go something like this:
1...b5 and 1...f5 are the worst answers on 1.e4.
Just for fun, would you like to play a unrated engine game against me with this?
[edit]
Or anybody else?

Yeah, please launch it!
It works okay against novices, but then again so does everything.
If you were playing someone 1500+ rating I'm not sure if that would work...
After 1 e4 b5 2 Bb5, what compensation does Black have for the pawn? Remember, unless you're completely indifferent to the outcome of the game, every move that you make should improve your position in some way. In what way has Black's position improved?
but then black could take the center with the moves shown in the diagram
thus the position above is not hopeless
5. a3!? followed by logical development is a valid option as well.
Surprise weapons have no value if the opponent expects it and is prepared for it. Hence, one needs a certain amount of luck for them to work. That is why most strong players use surprise weapons in a very small portion of their games.
I think theres an opening that needs expantion. 1.e4 b5. it is a fun opening to play and is not completly useless as long as one knows how to play tacticaly
This is the position, you will notice that the b pawn for black is perfectly takeable and un defended. but is it a good idea to take it? To tell the truth i have never played the white side but instead play the black side often as a "suprise opening". Beneath is one of my successes with the "Polish Counter-gambit"
