IDK but I wouldn't care if the site did.
Does Chess.com use Bots as Players on their live Games?
My chess games here don’t have any correlation with my chess skills! Sometimes I can lose 100–200 points in rapid in one day, sometimes I start to win in a row without any genius playing! It means that Chess.com ELO doesn’t make any sense, it doesn’t reflect any level... I feel manipulated, I don’t understand if I am getting better or not, and the site just creates dependence, makes money and makes me hate chess!
Moreover, I’m receiving nasty messages from different accounts, but they mention the same arguments as if the chats have the common space (the accounts are matched randomly while searching for an opponent).
And here the problems with the timer were mentioned many times (I had also these problems and my internet was fine at the moment). If these things are impossible because of the server access (as here is told), then it is the site by it's own makes these things.
And I don't like at all to be manipulated, to interact with bots declared to be real people! This is causing me harm, and it is illegal.
Believe me, that's just you. I've had no such experience, and neither have any of my friends.

If you’re so uncaring, why comment at all?

Yeah sure, it’s all just in my head — because if the one and only TheDifferenceOfTierV, along with his friends- SailorMoon and SpongeBob, have never experienced anything like that, then obviously the rest of the world hasn’t either.
This topic was opened also by me under a different nickname?

You can't just invalidate what I said by making fun of me. Find someone else who's experienced this or admit that your crazy conspiracy theory is just wrong.

Will find what? That people's ratings fluctuate? Not to mention, rating fluctuation is NORMAL, albeit not quite on such an extreme level as you describe. But genuinely what does chess.com get out of making their players ratings go up and down for no reason?

Ok,last replay only for you ( sei molto simpatico):
"... creates dependency and addictive behavior through a combination of gamification, dopamine-driven feedback loops, and design choices intended to keep users engaged for longer periods.
Dopamine-Driven Loops: The platform, particularly in fast time controls like bullet or blitz, provides rapid feedback. The cycle of winning releases dopamine, but losing causes frustration, pushing players to click "next game" instantly to chase a win to fix that feeling, leading to a "rage-playing" cycle.
Gambling-Type Mechanics: Some users argue that the platform's matchmaking algorithm behaves like a casino, creating streaks of highs (easy games) and lows (tough matches) designed to keep users hooked.
Gamification Elements: The platform uses "leagues" and divisions that encourage constant play to maintain or increase ranking, similar to modern video game "ranked" systems...."

there are planty other examples you can easily find by yourself... Also THIS tread here wasn't create by me, but by other conpirators.
And please don’t bother replying, I’ve already lost interest in this discussion.
Is it about addiction now, not bots?
it was reply on: "But genuinely what does chess.com get out of making their players ratings go up and down for no reason?"

ok ChatGPT, you're still wrong
they don't need to do that because that's literally already how playing chess works, you win half your matches on average, and you lose half. Not to mention, the only thing that they would get out of people being on the site longer is increased ad revenue. Which would not even come close to balancing out the costs of running the giant server farm to have the bots.
Every so often I get a string of games where they play almost identical. I just had a two games back to back where I opened D4 as white and they played a queens Indian. Out of hundreds of games I've almost never seen that played and then I get it twice in a row. It's just odd.
Same thing when I play King's indian. Out of no where I'll hit a streak of several playing the Austrian. Which is suppose to be strong so maybe people just know that but at my rating to hit something like that in a string of games. I think they certainly have accounts that look human so you don't wait long for a match.
Even crazy popular online games have longer que times. I never have to wait more than 5 seconds for a game.
I'm guessing they have metrics that tell them if people have to wait more than 30 seconds or something for a game their retention of that user plummets so they fill the gaps in with fake bot users.
There are also so many people working on AI language models that I'm sure are using Chess.com as a testing ground.
I never have to wait more than 5 seconds for a game.
Depending on your rating seek range, all you need is one person, somewhere on Earth, looking for a game at the same time as you - and you'll be quickly paired.
So it shouldn't be hard to believe that, out of the millions of players out there, there might actually be one other person looking for a game online at any current moment.
Might also be worth mentioning that I sometimes have to wait several minutes to find a pairing, depending on the time of day or night. Usually after midnight (East Coast time), I find that pairings come slower.
