I think that 1.e4 d5  2.exd5  g5 is a possible alternative to
2...Qxd5

This looks horrible for black. After 6. h3 white should be winning with relative ease.

If you play 6...gxh3, I might even consider playing 7. Rxh3 Bxh3 8. Nxh3 followed by Qh5-Ng5.
