come on,i think black has some better moves...:)

11...Nxc3 is not forced (and not the best) of course - it was just a illustration of problems black may face. Can you show me how black can equalise?

but after 5Nge7 what has white since 6Ndb5 is followed by Bb4

Please be so kind and read the whole thread, especially  post #35

Pacifique

Also nobody has told what black should do after 1. e4 e5 2.Nf3 Bd6 3.d4 exd4 4.Bc4 (see post #76).

Black is quite active? I think White has initiative.

you can probably get away with one bd6 class move, but 2-3 will start to get you in a bad position.

And that`s the reason why more solid openings are better - playing them you can afford more inaccuracies.

strategy's idea is better than mine, my idea of simply camping till white blows up black was better.

d5 not sure why two ??'s are given, but anyway I think it's nearer to equal than +/= for white.

white has a bishop pair and the position open yes, but his c pawn is weird.

something like qd6 h3 bd7 qc3 re8 I don't see any idea how white is better

in 7th move ?? are given because that move simply gives up pawn. in 8th and 9th move no such a mark is given. Please read more carefully posts you are going to respond.

I dont see how black can exploit "wired c pawn" who takes control over d5 square.

After 13..Qd6 White can  play 14.Bb2 or 14.Bg5 for example. I`ll make some analysis later.

not always at club level. if you study your bd6 well and don't screw up, white will make an inaccuracy it's back to equal.

While in more solid openings white can get worse position  due to inaccuracy. Feel the difference?

alexlaw your idea was good, black has a good game after d6,just Pacifique make it feel is not by his own "analysis".I gave him d5 in an absolute = position and he say white is better

Can`t do anything with your wishful thinking. Your claim about "absolute = position" speks only about your poor understanding of chess.

Also in one of your previous threads you have demonstrated chess ignorance claiming obviously worse positions as "solid" and "ok". http://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-openings/sicilian-venice

Of course you are talking about a variation on about the 14th move which surely cannot be best moves for both sides Cool

ponz111

You have a point but I am sure you know that chess engines and people can very well miss the very best moves from say the 5th move to the 14th.

maybe not the first four moves, but the rest are engine based from strategy and pacifique.

I use my own brains too. If I blindly trusted engine I would agree with some of your recommended moves and evaluations. Cool
