2 knights

Hellow everyone, i am wondering if i could get a bit of help with a rather odd opening that someone played against me today. Here is what confused me. I am white playing black, and black did some sort of the 2 knights game that i am not familliar with... and advice would be great.

So when i got to this point i became a bit confused. I decided on pressuring the night with my kings pawn, but should i have just gone with the regular route of bc4? is there a proper way to play this as white?

Thanks for you time and cretique.

3. e5 could transpose into Alekhine's Defence which is a defence you need to be familiar with if you want to go into it(I don't know yours or your opponent's rating so I can't say if this was blacks intention or not). I personally would have gone with Bc4 or Nc3.

well we are both very poor players. I am familliar with alikhines defense, so i should have forced that? thanks for the time guys :)

Looks like he was trying for the black knights' tango -- a tricky but I've heard playable opening (a few GM adherents).

Against e4 I dunno what it's called... transpose to alekhines like others are saying?  Not sure.
