i think it is Qa1xh8++ or fxe8=Q++

maybe if you use descriptive notation you could get something like P-KB8=Q#

9 letters!! if we made this position move 1000 it would be 1000. cxd8=N#!! 14 letters (with space)

Does double check like “++” count,because you could have like axb8=n++ with double check,consisting of 9 characters

It’s probably 8 or 9 characters

I found fake notation

ra1xef1++ isn’t possible because there is no piece able to do a discovered attack by you moving the rook

 I just settled up the move for ra1xef1++

Wait wouldn't this be a promotion for the pawn?

So I guess it’s just seven?

i wrote ra1xf1++ not ra1xef1

plus, what if there was a bishop diagonally behind the rook and there were two other bishops controlling the diagonals beside, and the rook was doubly disambiguated

Avatar of 1upda

but that would only work if the rook was on b1 and there we go. we have another long notation

A ++ means a double check so it should be possible to deliver fxe8=Q++ (where a pawn capures to promote to a queen and deliver a double check). So what do you guys think? And if you can do this in a game please share it. So that there will be an idea.

++ used to mean checkmate but idk if that's check.
