6.be7 or 6.bd6 in the mainline petrov?

in the mainline petrov defense, 1.e4 e5 2.nf3 nf6 3.nxe5 d6 4.nf3 nxe4 5.d4 d5 6.bd3, black either plays be7 or bd6 (nc6 is also a move, but i think that just transposes to be7 lines). I was wondering which move you guys liked better.

i agree that hitting h2 is a good idea. i have even seen some games where black plays be7 than bd6 later. I like bd6 better as well, i also just want to hear the other side.

i figured i may as well give this one last kick just incase anyone else has any thing to add.
I see Chessable is coming out with a new LTR course with Be7 … Nc6. FWIW.
