Intro : The boungcloud arises from 1.e4 e5 2.Ke2!, and I am here to teach you how to defend as black. As it is a new opening, there is much theory and my goal is to teach you some refutations to this powerful boncloud attack.
If you have any moves you don't know how to deal with as black, or you want an explanation, I will gladly help
As a certified BM (blunder master), I assure you all of what you are about to read is -33.246% correct. Enjoy!
White's objestives
1. Get his king on the a or h file where it can be a big force (however a secret is you CAN trap it easily on the rim)
2. Confuse you
3. Get his king to the 8 rank
Black's objectives:
1. Get white off of the strong f-3 and h-3 squares
2. trap the unsupecting king
3. March your king to victory
Against e4, why mirroring doesn't work
"Standard" play
So, perhaps the best defence is 1........ b5, planning to push b4. The goal is to restrict the white moarch from going to f3 or h3, where it will become unstopable. this is L99: The Usef Gambitoe el Crushato Cloud e Bong.
How to play against 1 d4
White may try to outflank you and go to f3, or simply build a strong queenside attack. Play could countinue as follows
1. Mirror Bongcloud (counter play)
