A simple trap for white to win the game in 9 moves

Hi there,

I'd like to share a nice trap that can actually be acieved in lutiple ways. Goal is to get this postion:

White defended the center pawn with the knight and black just pinned said knight to the white queen. White know defends the knight with Be2. Black usually likes to trade, because this removes the defender of the center pawn. So Bxf3, Bxf3 and if black falls for the trap Qxd4 to take the "free" center pawn. However Bxc6+ wins the queen and most opponents resign.

So how do you get to the starting position? After e4 black can actually play eighter e6 (french defense), c6 or d5 (scandinavian defense).

It certainly depends on the opponents level and speed the moves are made. Since it's the opening most people move very fast. My current ELO is about 1400 so I can garantee you that this trap works for most of my opponents in a 3 minute game if we get to this situation.

Black should not trade his bishop for a knight in such an open position.

It hink most people would be aware of the removing the defender tactic you always have to be conscious of that when your queen is taking things in the center If you go pawn grabbing you have to be careful, as a rule i never take 2 pawns consecutively especially if they are center pawns like in the Scandinavian
