A Variety of Traps

Here are a few traps.  Not very difficult but could get you into trouble if your opponent is aware of these.  Maybe these are fine for fast games but if a person has lots of time to think, maybe not a good idea?

Good ideas, that is all.

Queen Trap
Kieninger Trap
Carro Kann Defense
Grob's Attack
Lasker
Pratt

Case after case of why you don't open up your kingside in the opening unless you have a solid grip on positional play.

some of them dont make sense still you should watch for the ones that do. like the Pratt and the Keininger Trap

Rod,

Thanks for the traps.  They stimulate creative combinations.

Fishes

Traptastical! Yet, in some of those, blacks moves are in no way forced. But the Lasker trap amuses me every time I see it.

If you can post some games otherwise, great, give me some time to come up with some moves or games to go along with your comment, by all means please do post some examples.

Thanks,

Rod
