- Anyone knows about A00 Ruiz Method? Is similar to Creepy Crawly but with knights in d2 and e2.Who is mr. Ruiz?
A00 opening

You can find out more about this in Schiller's Unorthodox Chess Openings. The Ruiz Method is a "formation" style opening, without forcing move orders. It involves the following pawn/piece positions:
a3, h3, d3, e3, Ne2, Ng2, g4, and Bg2.
Here's a link to some info: Ruiz Method

I often use - and with great satisfaction! - Half-Hippo method, like the Hippo.
Its characteristics are as follows:
Pawns in d6, e6, g6, h6.
Bishop in g7
Knights in d7 and e7
You can also open the second "fianchetto" with b6 and Bb7, depending on how the opponent plays. Often goes f7-f5 and Nd7-f6-e4, with positions similar to the Dutch. Sometimes however, you get into positions like King's Indian... Is a very flexible deployment!
An example:
1.e4 d6 2.d4 g6 3.Nf3 Bg7 4.c4 Nd7 5.Nc3 e6 6.Be2 Ne7 7.Be3 h6 8.Qd2 a6
This is the typical set-up of the Half-Hippo. The White make pressure on Ph6, but Black can do, without any risk, the artificial castling!
9.h3 Kf8!? 10.O-O Kg8 11.b4 Kh7 (oof! Home at last...) 12.a3 f5! 13.Rfe1 Rf8
And the black, jockeying for internal lines, get a good game!
Personally, I played this pattern in both games and Super-Blitz Blitz, both games by mail .. With excellent results!
